Rich in history, this quaint private cabin used to once be a float house in Clayoquot Sound! Built to withstand the fierce West Coast storms, this unique hideaway caters brilliantly to couples, for romantic getaways, for those who wish to bask in Mother Natures playground and get a little R&R at their own secluded hideaway, before journeying out the the rugged shores and pristine sandy beaches of the Pacific Rim via the Willowbrae trail which borders this property. This gem comes with a private hot tub!

Once a float house in Clayoquot Sound, solidly built to withstand west coast forces of nature, Florencia Bay Cottage now serves as a unique "home away from home" on the edge of Pacific Rim National Park. West coast style and elegance blend perfectly in this cozy cottage. (600 sq ft) features quality post & beam construction with pine & cedar interior walls and contains one private bedroom upstairs with queen bed, very comfy sofa bed downstairs in the main living area, spacious 4-piece bathroom with old-fashioned cast iron clawfoot soaker tub & separate shower, large private deck with hot tub under cover, bbq, full kitchen (very well equipped), dining area, fireplace, satellite tv (viewable in living room), satellite music, cd/dvd player, wireless internet, and more.

Florencia Bay Cottage is nestled in the rainforest on the southern border of Pacific Rim National Park (Long Beach Unit) between the coastal towns of Ucluelet & Tofino.

A 5-minute walk from your doorstep will find you immersed in the magnificent rainforest of Pacific Rim National Park, on a well-developed trail that follows the path of the original settlers to the Pacific Rim area.

The Willowbrae Trail will lead you on down the "settlers" path only to emerge onto more breathtaking "super, natural" beauty...Half Moon Bay and Florencia Bay. Both beaches are accessible only by foot, adding to their beauty & wonder. Don't be surprised if you have the whole beach to yourselves, most definitely in the off seasons and on occasional mornings & evenings in the summer too...incredible!

Supplies include quality 100% cotton bed linens, down duvet(s), luxurious bath towels, bath robes (Copper Cabin & Halfmoon Cottage), locally handmade natural soap (scented & unscented), shampoo & conditioner, scented bath cream, fresh organic coffee, a variety of teas, sugar, salt, pepper, and a very well equipped kitchen, including fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, blender, pots & pans, dishes, cutlery, wine glasses, and more. Telephone and laundry facilities/services are not provided.
